GORDIC® specializes in creating and supplying flexible software and providing complex support for its users in the field of state administration, local self-government and banking. Our dominant position in the market supports via business and service activities a distribution network of more than 300 authorized experts. Professionalism and professional growth of individual parts of this distribution network support respectability when providing the needs of important customers and both technically and personnel demanding solutions.
During more than 14 years of its existence on the Czech market, the company has established a wide portfolio of clients, from ministries down to the smallest public administration organizations. The number of clients exceeded six thousand in 2006. The technological range of the company can be illustrated among others by the EIGER information system project for support of the card centre of Česká spořitelna – Erste bank. In such projects, it is critical to observe high accuracy of processing and excellence of the solution required for virtually uninterrupted operation of such systems.
The company places great emphasis on the supply of information systems together with the methodology of use in accordance with legislative regulations for individual administration systems, such as Accounting and Budget Methodology, Filing Service Methodology, Assets Registration methodology, etc. Besides application and methodological integration (“integration through methodology and system independent interface”), it provides a complete package of integration services down to outsourcing of purely technological or administration focused services.
Besides its main activities, GORDIC® is editor of the Gorinfo professional bulletin, which is intended for users of information systems in state administration and self-government. The company expresses its opinions with respect to actual topics in the field of public administration through the bulletin.
GORDIC® software products
GORDIC® software products support in particular:
- Processing of economic administration systems of public administration organizations (ERP),
- Document management system (DMS) within the GINIS® SSL filing service system,
- Management of registers and administration systems having the character of CRM systems for public administration.
Our software has proved itself thanks to its high variability and low demands for technical equipment. Its authors respond flexibly to changes in legislation and methodology, to new technological trends and changing requirements of users. Our range of three product lines and the broad spectrum of administration systems processed within their framework also contribute to covering of the needs of all potential users.
GINIS® information system
The GINIS® information system, which is currently the most frequently used ERP system in public administration, is intended for large and medium-sized organizations. Management of information flows in an organization is its basic function, which is technically implemented by means of a central database with decentralized data obtained from the www terminal - client – server multilevel architecture.
Individual subsystems (economy, filing service, human resources, administration systems) are subdivided into specialized components (modules) that through their functionality allow ease of use, conclusive, transparent and powerful management of individual administrations. All administrations use a common layer of identification, ownership and document circulation. Technological upgrade in the.NET. environment continues together with development of the modules. To ensure effective communication with external systems and their integration, GINIS® is provided with an integration platform that includes, among others, the XML system interface including web services.
GORDIC® WIN product line
This product line is intended for smaller and medium-sized public administration organizations. Applications of this line are mutually interlinked (they allow data communication) and cover all administration that public administration organizations perform. These applications operate in the WIN client-file server architecture.
Managerial superstructures
To effectively utilize the data obtained in GORDIC® systems, the company offers its clients deployment of various types of managerial superstructures according to their needs and, of course, according to the financial possibilities of users. These tools have a broad range of forms at present, from simple MS Office-based solutions up to large data warehouses and analytical tools pertaining to them (Datawarehouse). Above all, the integration of data from various sources (even external ones) into one system and the possibility to use a broad spectrum of tools for their presentation and analysis (aggregated diagrams and tables, itemized breakdowns, data display using GIS, etc.) are their main benefits.
Quality and safety
The quality of processes is guaranteed through a well-established QMS certified to 9001:2001. The company holds a certificate with accreditation issued by both CIA (Czech Accrediting Institute) and the internationally recognized UK accreditation UKAS, confirming conformity of the company’s quality management system with the above-mentioned standard. The certification proceedings were carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification, a reputable company with worldwide activities.
Development of GORDIC® program products is focused in the long term on the fulfilment of requirements of Act No. 365/2000 Coll. on information systems of public administration and other legal regulations in the field of public administration information systems. Compliance with these requirements is monitored and performed in all stages of the life cycle of the information system, in particular in the design, development, testing, validation, implementation, verification and IS modification stages.
GORDIC® is holder of the ENTREPRENEUR’S CERTIFICATE in accordance with Act No. 412/2005 Coll. on protection of secret information and on security capability for the “SECRET” level.
