Eiger CardIssue consist of sev eral tools which are re spon si ble for pre paring data for card pro duction, gen er ating data for card pro duction, card handling and de liv ery to cus tomers, PIN man agement and card moni toring through out the card´s life. Automated cardholder no ti fi cation is part of the card issuing. Tightly coupled are tools for managing Hot list and authorisation. Audit records are booked in the database for each card.
Eiger gives the bank complete control of the card database. Eiger support all kinds of cards, including credit and debit cards, magnetic cards, and chip cards. Cards can also be issued as co-branded. IAPA cards can be issued together with primary card. Card fees are gen erated au to matically.
An important part of the system is the tool for automatic reissuing, which automatically prepares data for card production.
In the authorisation phase, the operator can inspect card data by using the card browser.
